NOT EXACTLY ROCKET SCIENCE
The art of lighting a firework fuse is not exactly a highly scientific of complicated job. However, the science comes in the execution of a series of fuses timed perfectly, choreographed to beat, and set off in beautiful tableaux of colour and effect. The complication comes when weather conditions are wet, cold, windy, or a combination of the three. The art is to be able to make the show happen under the worst of circumstances, this only comes with experience.
Our experience stems from its beginnings in fireworks manufacturing, as pioneers in the world of spherical oriental style shells and the first to introduce cakes to the Canadian market. Our expertise, reliability and diversity in the fireworks display business are second to none in Ontario. We regularly shoot over 150 professional, safe and exciting shows per year. We do shows from Windsor to Iqaluit, from roof tops to barges, to mountain ridges, so we have seen and dealt with every possible weather and logistic nightmares possible.
For most of our customers, fireworks come but once a year. It can be a confusing jungle of products and terms. Comparing bids can seem impossible. The bottom line is professionalism and trust, our customers get both. They know as they start their event planning that the fireworks end of things is turn key, no paperwork, no issues, North Star handles everything.
At North Star, we grew slowly, taking on only those shows that we could handle, our philosophy has always been, if all shows can't be as good as our best show we simply won't take them on.
